John P. Pavone, President CEO
As President, John P. Pavone is responsible for the strategic planning and overall direction of SMG and its various divisions. He will be guiding Signature’s growth and positioning the team toward growth through vertical integration in various related industries in the future.

Mr. Pavone founded Signature Management Group in 1982. His career has spanned over thirty years in professional organizations. These have included both publicly and privately held companies in the hotel, casino and other business environments.

From 1993 to 2003, Mr. Pavone held the position of Vice President/General Manager for the Argosy Gaming Company. Argosy was founded in 1992 and has become one of the nation’s leading gaming organizations.

In addition, Mr. Pavone has served as the Vice President of Bascom, Inc., an asset management firm that specialized in the restructure and repositioning of several hotel properties for the Resolution Trust Corporation, FDIC and FSLIC. Mr. Pavone has also successfully restructured properties for lenders, publicly traded companies and partnerships nationwide.

As Vice President COO, Michael will oversee the day-to-day operations, primarily in the area of casino operations and support. Michael will lead the Company’s management team in day-to-day decisions regarding management of existing facilities and will concentrate on seeking new opportunities in the areas of Native American gaming.
